Allow Game System to include shared items and universal entries/rules
Many game systems have universal special rules. It would save a lot of time and editing catalogues if they were available to be entered in the Game System Editor and then avail as a rules selection for entries in the Catalogue Editor. Additionally, it would be nice to have them able to have children.
For example, many units in Infinity have the Camoflage and Hiding (CH) special rule, of which there are three levels: CH: Mimetism (L1), CH: Camoflage (L2), CH: TO Camouflage (L3). I suggest that the Parent have an abbreviation property, in this case it would be "CH".
Then in the Catalogue Editor, one could select one of the universal special rules (or enter a new/non-universal one) for each entry.
Completed in version 2.00.00
Update: The “heavy lifting” is basically done. There is a long list of small niggles, details and issues to shake out though. It’s all coming together!
I hope to get a beta out before Christmas or early January so the data guys can put it through it’s paces and give feedback. No promises though!
While the beta progresses, I’ll start porting to Android/iOS – this release will need to be simultaneous on all platforms. The beta process may therefore be a long one, before a full release when it all looks good.
I’m currently working on “unifying” game system and catalogue data, so either can contain the same elements.
This will mean that a game system can contain shared items and even entries and roster-level rules that will be available/included it’s catalogues.

Any update on this Jon? This would make maintaining Kings Of War a lot easier (as well as a bunch of other systems.)
Fantastic news that this is now underway!!!
Actually, every "Entry", "Entry Groups", "Profile", and "Rule" should be able to be created in the Game System Editor to be used in every catalog.
Wondering if this is coming soon?
